ACIFA 2026 Conference – Registration is Now Open

Hello Faculty,

ACIFA is heading to the mountains, and you are invited to join us at the Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper.

The 2026 ACIFA Conference is a great opportunity to connect with faculty from across the province, exchange ideas you can carry back into practice, and step out of the usual routine in a setting that does not feel like a boardroom. This year’s keynote speaker is Mark Groves, and it promises to be a exciting program.

Conference details at a glance:

• When: May 3 to 5, 2026

• Where: Jasper Park Lodge, Jasper, Alberta

Registration:

• Registration opens: January 20, 2026

• Registration deadline: March 30, 2026

• Registration fee: Members $980.00, Non members $1055.00

Hotel booking and rates:

• Hotel booking link will be provided upon conference registration

• Room rates: $353 to $645 per night, based on single occupancy, including fees and tax

• Additional guest fee: $16 per night per extra room guest

• Cancellation policy: Non refundable after April 2, 2026

• Limited rooms available

• Parking: Complimentary self parking, valet parking $47.25 (tax included)

To help with attendance costs, the Faculty Association will provide $500 reimbursement cheques to the first 20 faculty members who register to attend. This is first come first served, and the cheques will be distributed at the conference. To be eligible, please email me at mike.mayo@lethpolytech.ca to confirm you are within the first 20 registrants, and a cheque will be waiting for you in Jasper.
