Hello Faculty,

On behalf of the Lethbridge Polytechnic Faculty Association, thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in this year’s General Vote. Democratic engagement is at the heart of a strong and representative Faculty Association, and your involvement; whether through voting or standing for election, demonstrates a shared commitment to shaping the direction and values of our academic community.

We are especially grateful to those who put their names forward for consideration. Offering to serve takes courage and a willingness to lead, and we commend all candidates for their dedication to faculty representation and advocacy.

Following the conclusion of the vote, we are pleased to announce the successful candidates:

  • Dorothea Morrison – By-laws Standing Committee

  • Stacia Nelson & Deanna Forrester – Professional Standards Committee

  • Emory Hache – Occupational Health and Safety Committee

  • Rhys Hakstol – Occupational Health and Safety Committee

  • Marie Laenen & Connie Lyon – Student Appeal Committee

  • Kirsten Fantazir – Student Appeal Committee Alternate

 

A total of 101 faculty members cast their ballots this year, and we appreciate every vote submitted. Your participation ensures that the LPFA remains a strong and responsive voice for faculty across the institution.
