2026 – 2027 Faculty Assignable Work Schedule

Hello Faculty,

As we look ahead to the upcoming academic year, I wanted to share the finalized 2026 - 2027 Assignable Work Period for faculty. As outlined in our collective agreement, faculty are scheduled for 190 days of assignable work, generally from late August to late May.

Key Dates:

• Return to Work: Monday, August 31, 2026

• Final Day on Campus: Friday, May 28, 2027

The full schedule includes statutory holidays, discretionary days (both flexible and scheduled), and breaks aligned with the academic calendar. As always, any deviations from the standard calendar must be approved by both the faculty member and their administrator in advance.

If you have any questions or if your program operates on an alternate timeline, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Chair or Dean for clarification.

Just a reminder that this academic year’s final day on campus for faculty is Friday, May 22, 2026.
