Teaching Excellence Award Winners 2025-2026
Good day Folks,
Each year, the Teaching Excellence Awards give us a chance to recognize the incredible educators who make a real difference in the lives of our students. Presented jointly by the Students’ Association and the Faculty Association, these awards celebrate instructors who go above and beyond to create supportive, engaging, and inspiring learning environments.
What makes these awards especially meaningful is that they are based entirely on student nominations. They reflect the direct impact faculty have in the classroom and beyond, straight from the voices of those we teach.
After reviewing an impressive 122 submissions, the Students’ Association has selected this year’s recipients:
🏆 Karl Rejman – Teaching Excellence Award
🏆 Emily Van Dasselaar – Rookie of the Year Award
Karl and Emily have each made a significant impact on their students’ academic journeys, earning recognition for their dedication, energy, and ability to connect in meaningful ways.
We hope you’ll join us in celebrating their achievements and recognizing the outstanding work happening across our campus.
