Teaching Excellence Awards - 2025-2026 Academic Year

Hello Faculty,

We are pleased to announce that nominations for the 2025-26 Teaching Excellence Awards are now open! These awards, presented by the Lethbridge Polytechnic Faculty Association (LPFA) in collaboration with the Lethbridge Polytechnic Students’ Association (LPSA), celebrate outstanding instructors who make a lasting impact in the classroom.

There are two award categories:

🔹 Rookie of the Year – Recognizing a first-year instructor who demonstrates exceptional teaching excellence.

🔹 Teaching Excellence – Honoring a seasoned instructor who consistently exhibits outstanding teaching practices.

Nominations are open until March 13, 2026, and can only be submitted by students. Last year, we received 198 nominations, highlighting the incredible dedication of our faculty.
